Former CSK Star Again Took a Sly Dig on Virat Kohli After KKR Win in IPL 2024: From the day, that RCB won the match in the first eliminator game, and after the loss in the Eliminator 2, Rayudu took a dig on the RCB team.

And also even after the KKR win in IPL 2024, he took a dig at Virat Kohli saying that Orange Cap won’t bring you IPL titles.

With this win, again Ambati Rayudu took a cheeky dig at Virat Kohli and the RCB team.

Kohli in a recorded video When Iyer collected the award on his behalf, said,

“Extremely honored to receive the orange cap for this season. It was a roller-coaster of a ride, I was pleased with the way I performed for my team throughout the season but more importantly in the latter half where we needed to win every game to qualify. Something that I hope to replicate in the 2025 season of the IPL as well. Thank you everyone for your support.”

Rayudu said on Star Sports, during the post-match press conference,

“If you talk about RCB today, it shows that only passion and celebrations don’t win you trophies. You need to plan. You didn’t get the IPL trophy just by reaching the playoffs. You have to play with the same hunger. Don’t think you will win the IPL trophy just by beating CSK. You will have to come next year once again.

They need to show more faith in Indians, especially in Indian talent. I don’t think in the past 16 years any Indian batter apart from Virat Kohli has scored more than 1000 runs, and Virat is at 8000. That shows that you don’t have any confidence in Indian talent.”

Even after that, he took to Twitter and posted on X by making the remarks again on RCB after KKR won. In that post, he wrote that,

Rayudu retired from IPL after CSK’s fifth title win in 2023. But even then he has been a part of the broadcasting team.
