Gautam Gambhir Was Impressed By Rinku’s Innings At St. George’s Park: Rinku Singh is the name that became very famous all over the world in Cricket. He has made such a huge impact and made his mark in the T20 International (T20I) arena since his debut started this year.

Former Indian Cricketer Gautam Gambhir heaped praise on Rinku Singh after his gameplay against South Africa in the second T20I.

In the recent, second T20I game that was held at St George’s Park, India vs South Africa, Rinku played a very crucial role and scored 248 runs in seven innings with a strike rate of 183.7 on an average of 82.66.

Rinku Singh’s T20I career started in August 2023, against Ireland, and showcased his potential. Further, even in many games like the game against Australia, he showcased his prowess.

In this second T20I, he delivered 68 runs off 39 deliveries and stood like a shine of a star. Despite his efforts, India fell short of wickets and was defeated by SA by five wickets.

With this, he stood in the 59th position in the new ICC T20I Rankings. Even Though India did not win the match, everyone recognized the efforts of the Indian team mainly Rinku Singh and SKY.

Even Gautam Gambhir recognized his efforts in Gqeberha and speaking to star sports, he said that in each of his innings, he worked hard, and grounded it out in the domestic circuit to reach his position.

He went on and said that,

“When you come in after a lot of handwork, first-class cricket and you have performed at every single stage, then you value each of your knocks. Then you start every innings like it is your first one, and you won’t take anything for granted.

Whatever success he gets, I feel, he deserves it. Because Rinku Singh hasn’t got anything easily. When he does well, it’s not just him, but the entire country becomes happy.”
