Harbhajan Singh Spoke About Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma: The India team is already in the USA and practicing for the Group A match which will be held in New York on June 5.

Harbhajan Singh speaking about Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, said that they are key players for this T20 World Cup and he also talked about India wanting to be very tricky with the pitch which the experts criticized.

India is going to play its first Group Campaign against Ireland on June 5 in New York. Rohit and Dravid already see the pitch and also India played a warm-up match against Bangladesh and won the match.

Harbhajan Singh showed his confidence in Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli will be the key players during their T20 World Cup 2024. The drop-in pitches have been criticized lately by the experts for being slow.

Harbhajan Singh while speaking to Star Sports,

“Virat Kohli is always ready for the challenges, and now the kind of situation that is there in the T20 World Cup, he needs to be even more prepared. He has not played the first game and in this match, the issue will be as to how the pitch will play out.

If the pitch stays like this, then the responsibility will yet again come on Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli. Both of them have that experience and the team will see how these two players react on that pitch.”

“The first 6 overs will be really important and if the wicket does not fall in the first 6 overs for India, and if they manage to score 150–160 runs, that will be a winning total as this pitch is not easy and could be against a fluent display of batting.”

“However, whenever the challenges are bigger, that is when Virat Kohli steps up. He has to do that this time as well for team India. He has done in franchise cricket in the last 2 months and, even before that, he has done lots of work for team India.

However, now the time has come to lift the trophy so I hope Virat Kohli will show his prowess here.”
