Hardik Pandya Spoke About Pride of Our Country After Playing Against Ireland: As the T20 World Cup 2024 started, on June 1, India also started its group campaign on June 5 and played the game against Ireland.

In that game, India won the game by 8 wickets at Nassau County Stadium in New York. Also, Hardik Pandya who looked terrible on IPL 2024, played well and spoke about the special motivation to play for the country.

India won the match against Ireland and took the first win in this T20 World Cup 2024, In that match, Pandya picked up 3 wickets, giving away just 27 runs from his four overs.

Speaking at the mid-innings interview during the India vs Ireland game, Pandya explained how he made the turnaround.

Pandya told the broadcaster after the match against Ireland,

“Always special to play for the country, always good to play for pride. I have been able to contribute to the World Cups, God has been kind.”

“I liked the first wicket, don’t hit the stumps often as I usually bowl short of a length. I needed to be fuller than back of a length today. On this kind of surface, you need to be disciplined and hit the right areas. It’s always fantastic to see the crowd, we Indians are everywhere, we rule the world, good to have their support,” he added.
