IPL 2024 Auction Will be Conducted on Dec 19, Each Team To Have 100 Crores Purse

IPL Auction 2024: The Indian Premier League player auction for the 2024 season will be held in Dubai on December 19, with each team having an increased purse compared to last season.

It is the first instance of the IPL Auction that will be held out of India. According to the report, the purse for every franchise has been increased to Rs 100 crore, a raise of Rs 5 crore compared to the last season. The teams are given a deadline of November 15 to release their lists of retained and released players. The Indian team will be on its tour of South Afric at that time.

The money spent by every franchise from their purse in the auction will depend on the value of players they release, the report added.
