Irfan Pathan Hits England Cricketers For Leaving The IPL 2024 Early: After Sunil Gavaskar, the latest Indian former cricketer Irfan Pathan slammed England Players for leaving the IPL tournament in mid-way.

Jos Buttler, Phil Salt, Will Jacks, Liam Livingstone, and several others have left the Indian Premier League 2024 season to play in the upcoming T20I series against Pakistan.

“Either be available for a full season or don’t come”: Irfan Pathan

From June 1, T20 World Cup 2024 is going to start in the West Indies and USA. And everyone is eagerly waiting for that match to play and win. And all the details about the T20 World Cup have come out.

And many players especially England players moved back to their hometowns without completing their IPL 2024 journey to practice for the T20 World Cup as they have a match with Pakistan.

Sunil Gavaskar as he can’t tolerate this urged BCCI to fine the cricketers as they are leaving before the time even they have signed to play the full season.

“I am in favor of fair international cricket. However, if have agreed to be a part of the full season, you should keep your word. England players are earning a lot of money from IPL and they should respect their contracts.

It is high time that BCCI allows the franchises to deduct some amount from their overall contract money if they leave early. Even the 10 percent commission given to cricket boards should be stopped,” Sunil Gavaskar.

Supporting him, Irfan Pathan who is the former Indian all-rounder slammed England players by sharing a tweet on his official account of X (formerly Twitter) after the RR vs PBKS game.

“Either be available for a full season or don’t come!” said Pathan.

Many England players are returning home ahead of their T20 World Cup with Pakistan.  KKR also faced a setback with Phil Salt who had shown his top performances departure ahead of the IPL Playoffs.

Curran, who scored 63 and took 2 wickets, won’t be there when PBKS travel to Hyderabad to face SRH on May 19.
