Liam Livingstone Speaks About Eoin Morgan’s Claim of ‘Rift’ In England Cricket Team: Recently, in the last match of England, they got defeated by the Indian cricket team. Overall, England has lost five matches out of six in the ICC Men’s World Cup 2023. Finally, Liam Livingstone breaks silence over the rift in the England team.
A risky meeting occurred as India and England went one-on-one in Match 29 of the ODI World Cup 2023. India maintained their stellar runs, fixing their sixth constant victory in the ICC cricket tournament. But for England, after their 5th loss in ICC, they just secured 2 points with an NRR of -1.652 in the points table.
What did Eoin Morgan State?
Eoin Morgan is the England captain who led the team to World Cup glory in 2019, He stated that “there’s something within the team that is definitely unsettled.”
To this, he also added “I’ve never come across a sports team that has underperformed like this England team, given the level of expectation that is on their shoulders. The method, they’re trying to use, and given the substantial nature in which they’ve lost the games, definitely called into question, the morale within the changing room and the confidence,” in Sky Sports before the Ind Vs Eng clash.
He additionally added, “It must be at its lowest that it’s been for a considerable period of time now. This is 50-over cricket, IPL is T20 cricket. It is a very different game. We are not just playing good enough cricket at the moment.”
Livingstone Disagreement To Morgan’s Claim Of “Unsettled Team” In ODI 2023
Finally, Liam Livingstone has denied Eoin Morgan’s blam that the team of England is in an unsettled state during World Cup 2023. All-rounder Liam contradicted gossip of any discord within the dressing room of the England team.
The actual statement given by England’s cricketer Liam after the 100-run defeat against India on Sunday, “Everybody in the dressing room has got immense respect for Morgs (Morgan) but hand on heart I can tell you there is nothing going on in the dressing room. Everybody is working as hard to try and turn this around,”
