Matthew Hayden’s Playing XI Ahead of T20 World Cup Shocks Everyone: Recently, as IPL has been completed, the T20 World Cup has also been started and there are a few more days left for India to start their campaign.

India’s 15-member squad has been already in the USA for the T20 World Cup and former Australian cricketer Matthew made the changes in the Playing XI and surprised everyone.

As per Hayden, If Kohli is not opening the match, he is not going to play T20 World Cup.

As everything was going well, Matthew Hayden suddenly came up with a surprising twist and once again Hayden stressed Virat in the front row as an opener and changed Rohit from his usual position.

Ahead of the T20 World Cup for India against Ireland, Hayden speaking to ESPN Cricinfo, said that there should be a combination of left and right-hand batsman.

“You have to have a combination of left and right-handed batsmen. You cannot have five right-handed batsmen in a row. Kohli has to open or he will not play in my team. Kohli is in great form right now and he should open.”

“Rohit is a versatile player and does not shy away from batting away in that middle order. He has a successful record in T20I cricket batting at No. 4 and he can lead the batting group from the early middle order,” he added.

Now if we look at the batting positions of the Indian team,

Hayden included Kohli and Jaiswal as openers in his playing eleven. Suryakumar Yadav is at number 3 and Rohit Sharma is at number 4. Rishabh Pant is at number 5 and Hardik Pandya is at number 6.

And also he included Shivam Dubey, Ravindra Jadeja, Kuldeep Yadav, Jaspreet Bumrah, and Arshdeep Singh in his team.
