Wasim Jaffer Hits Back After Michael Vaughan Trolls Him For Poor Batting in Mumbai
ICC World Cup 2023: Former England captain Michael Vaughan and former Indian opener Wasim Jaffer are most popular for their banter on social media called Twitter. These people were involved in another hilarious exchange after India’s victory against Sri Lanka in Mumbai during the ongoing World Cup 2023 on November 2.
Michael Vaughan was present in the Wankhede Stadium and was thrilled to see the atmosphere and the support for the Indian team. He also stated that Wankhede has the best batting pitch in India, and took a dig at Wasim Jaffer by mentioning his poor batting performance on the ground.
Michael Vaughan posted on Twitter, “So good to be at the Wankhede yesterday .. The best batting surface in #India .. As a local boy @WasimJaffer14 averaged an astounding 7.75 in Test cricket at such an iconic cricket venue .. #Mumbai”.

Wasim Jaffer is well known for his controversial responses and he gave a fitting reply to Vaughan, indirectly talking about the latter not scoring double centuries and triple centuries as a player.
He replied to Michael Vaughan’s tweet “Yes Michael Wankhede is a batting paradise, too bad I missed out in the couple of Tests I played there. Could be because I preferred challenges. Like the challenge of scoring home & away Test 200s or FC 200s & 300s.. but you wouldn’t know any of those feelings so nevermind 😏.”
