Many of them already know that he is suffering from an Ankle injury and taking treatment for that and he is recovering slowly. So with that, he is ruled out from the IND vs SA test series of both matches.

Why Shami is Away For IND vs SA Test Series

Skipper Rohit Sharma, Virat, Bumrah, R Ashwin, and many other India Cricket Team are going to fly out to South Africa on Friday via Dubai. According to Cricbuzz reports, on December 5th, Mohammad Shami was unlikely for the South Africa test series and he is suffering from a serious ankle injury.

As he still wants to continue his treatment and is recovering slowly, due to that, he is not going to fly to South Africa. But the India Cricket team did not name Mohammad Shami’s replacement.

Team India to go for South Africa is announced on November 30. At the same time, BCCI also announced that Shami is taking the treatment to play further.

At that time BCCI stated that “Mr. Mohd. Shami is currently undergoing medical treatment, and his availability is subject to fitness.”

As there is no announcement about the replacement of Shami, everyone is thinking that there are many people at T20I International, already playing and going to play, tests, series, and ODIs, and one fast bowler among them will be added.

The two test series are going to be played at SuperSport Park in Centurion from December 26 to Jan 7th, 2024.
