He commenced by disclosing his knowledge of Bengali, which came from his initial days of working as a Ticket Collector at the Kharagpur railway station.

Experienced star cricketer added that how it helped while playing a match in Bangladesh. With that knowledge, he can easily understand the conversation between the opponents wicketkeeper and bowler in Bengali, but they were unmindful that Dhoni knows their native language.

MS Dhoni recalled, “If someone speaks Bengali around me, I can easily figure out what they are saying. Interestingly, once we were playing a match in Bangladesh, and I was batting. They didn’t know that I understood Bengali. So, the keeper was shouting and instructing the bowler, but I already knew what he was going to bowl. Later, when the match ended, and they were talking, their reaction was ‘E To Bangla Bujhtе Paarе’ (He understands Bengali!),”

After his funny narration, Dhoni even spoke about the big update on his possibility of returning to the Indian Premier League (IPL). He affirmed his willingness to return to the IPL, just as well said that it would stay possible upon his revival from the last knee operation.
