Nasser Hussain Predicts the Future of Young Indian Batter: Former England Cricket Captain Nasser Hussain recently shared his opinion on emerging cricket talents, and he picked up India’s Subhuman Gill and New Zealand’s Rachin Ravindra.

Those are the two batters he picked up who can become the future legends of Men’s Cricket. He also opined that Gill might have learned batting from the Indian Skipper Rohit Sharma.

Shubman Gill registered his maiden ODI double-century against New Zealand, scoring 208 off 149 balls in Hyderabad. In the video shared by ICC on its Instagram handle, the former England captain said,

“The men, I am going to go with Shubman Gill. I think he had a very good three-quarters, nine-tenths of 2023. He must have learned so much having the likes of Rohit Sharma at the other end.”

Gill had a solid showing in the World Cup, securing 354 runs across nine matches at an average of 44.25 and an impressive strike rate of 106.94.

Turning his attention to Rachin Ravindra, Nasser Hussain Applauded the performance of Rachin Ravindra in the 2023 World Cup. He smashed 578 runs in 10 innings at an average of 64.22 and a strike rate of 106.45 with three hundreds.

Commention on Rachin Ravindra Nasser Hussain said that,

“Going into that World Cup, I’d seen him in England a bit. He came in at Lord’s down the order and smashed it around and I thought, crikey, he can play.

And then, they moved him up to the top of the order and he was a revelation. So, Rachin Ravindra, hopefully, he can continue his progression.”
