Kagiso Rabada Left IPL and Expecting To Be Available For T20 World Cup
Kagiso Rabada is the player who played 11 games for the Punjab Kings and took 11 wickets at 8.85 economy. PBK has already left IPL 2024 but still, there is a game with Rajasthan Royals as he is suffering from an infection in his lower limb.
Presently, the Cricket South Africa team has sent him back to his home to get strong for the T20 World Cup. This was confirmed on Tuesday at Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati during a pre-match press conference by assistant coach Brad Haddin.
This is a big blow for Rajasthan Royals, and everyone is expecting him to be fit for the T20 World Cup 2024 as he is also an important person in the 15-member squad.
“The 28-year-old consulted a specialist on arrival in South Africa and is being closely monitored by the Cricket South Africa medical team,” said the release.

Haddin said that,
“Yeah, there will be (changes to the Playing XI). We know Rabada’s gone home injured, so we’ve got to find a replacement. Liam Livingstone has also been called back by the ECB (England and Wales Cricket Board).
There’ll be a change there also. We’ll meet later tonight to finalize the 11 or 12 that we’ll go in with. Tomorrow’s game is about going out there and expressing oneself.
We are out of the tournament, which is disappointing, but it’s still another opportunity for the younger guys and the team to develop.”
Proteas Men’s fast bowler Kagiso Rabada has returned home from the Indian Premier League due to a lower limb soft tissue infection.
