Pieterson Slams Social Media Users For Abusing Ambati Rayudu: Social media users trolled Ambati Rayudu for making remarks on the RCB team and mainly on Virat Kohli after the loss in the eliminator match with Rajasthan Royals.

Former England cricketer Kevin Pietersen slammed social media users to stop the abuse against Ambati Rayudu.

After Ambati Rayudu made remarks on social media about Kohli after the loss against RR. On May 26th Rayudu had taken a sly dig at Virat Kohli by saying that scoring a lot of runs every season does not guarantee an IPL trophy.

Rayudu was trolled by cricket fans after Kevin Pietersen called him a joker on live TV. He further added that RCB needed to show more faith in the youngsters rather than relying on Kohli alone.

“Thank you for bringing out the fact that he changed from orange to blue,” said host Mayanti Langer.

“I’ve at least held firm. I wore it and I owned it,” said Pietersen pointing out towards his purple dress. “You are a joker, always a joker,” Pietersen further went on to say.

“I am supporting both the teams. I am supporting good cricket,” responded Rayudu.

This led to a score of abuse for Rayudu on social media where cricket fans called him out over the alleged agenda.

Pietersen however came out on Tuesday afternoon and tried to settle things down.

“This tribalism with/against Indian players on social media needs to slow down! Ambati Raydu and I were messing around after the IPL final and all of a sudden that banter has turned into an avalanche of abuse towards Ambati. PLEASE stop it?” Pietersen tweeted out.
