RCB all-rounder Swapnil says that the presence of MS Dhoni will not be a pressure for RCB, but it will be a motivation for us.

As we all know, on May 18, Saturday at Chinnaswamy Stadium, Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore are going to have a clash against each other. And also this game will decide which team is going to playoffs for the final spot for this IPL season 2024.

This game was also the final match of the tournament for MS Dhoni and as he had been struggling with injuries so everyone was expecting that he would retire.

Swapnil talking to the indiatoday.in before the match between RCB And CSK, he talked about the effect of MS DHoni on RCB.

“Mahi bhai will be in front of us. When you see him, some memories hit you straight away. How he keeps things simple in matches. In big matches, how he keeps things even more simple. His being there is an inspiration for us and not pressure.

I will remember the teachings from him over the years and keep things very relaxed.”

“We have been playing knockout matches since our game 7 or 8. So, at this point, it just feels normal. The CSK match is a big game, there is a lot at stake, if we win by a certain margin, we will qualify also.

But when you play, you don’t think about these things, you just focus on your own game, and try to execute your skills.”

If RCB loses or shares points with CSK due to rain in Bengaluru on Saturday, they will be knocked out.
