Sachin Tendulkar Announces “Best Fielder of the Match” After IND vs SL World Cup Match

India vs Sri Lanka World Cup 2023: India won the ODI WC match against Sri Lanka with a 302-run victory at the Wankhede stadium in Mumbai on Thursday. The victory helped India to secure the first position in the ongoing ICC ODI World Cup 2023 semifinals.

During that match team, India’s star middle-order batter Shreyas Iyer received the “Best Fielder of the Match” medal after the IND vs SL victory. After completing the match, former Indian cricket Sachin Tendulkar announced the “Best Fielder of the Match” award to Shreyas Iyer in the dressing room.

In the India vs Sri Lanka World Cup match, Shreyas Iyer bagged two important catches and thus contributed to the dismissals of Sadeera Samarawickrama and Dilshan Madushanka off Mohammed Siraj and Ravindra Jadeja’s bowling, respectively. Iyer also shows exceptional fielding skills and saves some runs.
