Suryakumar Yadav Was Shortlisted for ICC Men’s T20I Cricketer of the Year 2023 with 3 Other Players: In a recent post of ICC on X social media platform, The board of ICC posted about the shortlisted cricketer of India for ICC Men’s T20I cricketer of the year 2023. Among the four cricketers nominated for this award, our star India batter Suryakumar Yadav is one to nominate for the ICC Men’s T20I 2023 Award.
The winner of this award will be finalized based on the voting results. Yes, fans are invited to participate in the voting process and help their favorite cricketers.

The cricketers who got nominated for the ICC Men’s T20I Cricketer of the Year 2023 are India’s Suryakumar Yadav, New Zealand’s Mark Chapman, Zimbabwe’s Sikandar Raza, and Uganda’s Alpesh Ramjani.
Suryakumar Yadav (India):
World No.1 T20I batter Suryakumar Yadav stayed safe from the notorious second-year syndrome, continuing his power in the shortest format. Although an easy start with a simple 7 in his 1st game against Sri Lanka, he rapidly picks up momentum, showing his skills with scores of 51 (36) and an unbeaten 112* (51) in the succeeding matches.

Mark Chapman (New Zealand):
During the last cricket season, Mark Chapman, a star New Zealand batter, showed excellent batting skills. In a total of 21 matches, he scored 576 runs with an average of 44.30 and an amazing strike rate of 141.87.
Especially significant was his unbeaten ton with a total of 290 runs during the five-match series against Pakistan. In glory of his incredible performance, the New Zealand batter was called the Player of the Series.
Sikandar Raza (Zimbabwe):
One more nominee who is known for all-rounder capabilities, is a highly talented Zimbabwe cricketer Sikandar Raza. He created a strong case even though Zimbabwe fell short of qualifying for the T20 World Cup.
His exceptional performances during the Africa Qualifier tournament made a strong case for his nomination. Notably, Raza secured two fifties against Namibia, striking 82* off just 35 balls and 52 off 36 balls respectively. Besides, his important knock of 82 off 48 balls against Kenya was instrumental in confirming Zimbabwe’s triumph.

Alpesh Ramjani (Uganda):
In 2023, Alpesh Ramjani exhibited a superior performance for the Ugandan cricket team. His left-arm orthodox was confirmed to be exceptionally hard for the opposite batters, resulting in him declaring an amazing 55 wickets in 30 matches. This earned him the most elevated wicket-taker among men’s players in the T20I format throughout the year.
