Virat Kohli Surprised His Fans By Revealing Post-Retirement Plans: Team India and Royal Challengers Batter Virat Kohli has opened up on his post-retirement plans. In a video that was shared by RCB’s official social media handle, he revealed that he might take a break from sports to plan his future carefully.

Kohli’s hunger for runs and centuries has already got a record length ton in the Indian Premier League 2024 season. Presently, former India captain Kohli is the backbone of Team India’s batting and he has been the biggest match-winner of the decade.

Kohli is currently 35 years old but is one of the fittest players going around in world cricket. In a video posted by RCB on social media, Kohli has discussed his post-retirement plans.

This question was posed to the former India captain at the RCB’s Royal Gala Dinner, held in Bengaluru on May 18, ahead of their crucial IPL match against CSK.

“It’s quite simple,” said the 35-year-old Kohli. “I think as a sportsman, we do have an end-date to our careers. So I am just working backward.

I don’t want to finish my career thinking ‘Oh, what if I had done this on that particular day’ because I can’t keep going on and on forever. So it’s just about not leaving any undone business behind and not having any regrets later, which I am sure I won’t.”

“Once I am done, I will be gone, you won’t see me for a while (smiles). So I want to give it everything I have till the time I play, and that’s the only thing that keeps me going.”
