Microsoft is now allowing upgrading devices starting from the 7th Gen Intel processors instead of its previous processors’ requirements that supported the Intel core starting for the 8th Gen. Still, the terms are that the 7th Gen processor should be equipped with a 7820 HQ chip.

By viewing the latest changes made in the requirements, many users on Intel’s core X and Xeon W might be installing the new operating system. If you are an AMD user, Windows 11 will only support the 2nd Generation Ryzen (that includes Threadripper) and newer processors. This can also include some EPYC and Athlon CPUs.
