CSK Skipper MS Dhoni’s New Look Ahead of IPL 2024: When Mahendra Singh Dhoni started his IPL career, as a power hitter, he also made a mark on his long hair.

When he became famous due to his cricket game, many fans liked his hairstyle too. But after the 2007 World Cup, he changed his hairstyle.  And now again he started to recollect the memories and returned to his vintage look ahead of the Indian Premier League 2024.

‘Maintaining long hair for fans’: MS Dhoni

Chennai Super Kings captain MS Dhoni has discussed his decision on the vintage iconic hairstyle. Recently, a renowned hair stylist Aalim Hakim, posted the latest look of MS Dhoni on Social media, with his new hairstyle.

Fans liked his hairdo and remembered the earlier days when he made his debut in 2004. Dhoni while speaking at a promotional event, acknowledged the difficulty of maintaining long hair.

“Earlier, when I went for ad films, I usually used to get ready in 20 minutes. Everything from the make-up to the hair would get done in those 20 minutes and I would be ready for the shoot.

Now, it takes one hour and five minutes. So, it is a bit boring sitting on a chair and just waiting, but I am doing it because my fans have loved my new hairstyle.”

Even though he is interested in maintaining it again because his loyal fans like it.

“So, I will try to keep it for some time. However, it is very tough to maintain it. I will try to keep it this way as long as I can. But one day I may wake up and decide it’s enough; I’ll cut it down,” he also added.

And Aalim Hakim also disclosed a secret about maintaining this hairstyle, they got inspired by the art of the fan they found very impressive. By that Hakim asked Dhoni to grow his hair to a specific length without any alterations.

Coming to his team Chennai Super Kings, he led the team, successfully till now and if they get the trophy this time, they will get the fifth IPL trophy. And in the recent revelation, CSK CEO has said that, till now Dhoni has not yet revealed his plans for IPL 2024.

However, the CEO gave a hint that he might announce his plans to his fans. In the auction that was held in Dubai on December 19, Daryl Mitchell and Rachin Ravindra as the highlight buys for CSK.
