Gautham Gambhir Thanks Sharukh Khan For Dealing With His ‘Tantrums’:  KKR mentor Gautham Gambhir paid his Gratitude to the co-owner of KKR Sharukh Khan for handling him with patience.

Recently, former cricketer Gautham has rejoined KKR as a mentor for the upcoming T20 tournament. Previously Gautham Gambhir led KKR to two title triumphs in 2012 and 2014.

Gambhir has rejoined the Kolkata Knight Riders team as a mentor ahead of the highly anticipated IPL 2024 season. He thanked the KKR co-owner Shahrukh Khan for handling him with Patience. Gambhir helped the KKR team to the IPL title two times.

On Thursday, March 14, Gautham arrived in Kolkata ahead of IPL 2024, and the KKR team shared a video on its official Instagram handle featuring Gambhir alongside the team management.

In 2011, Gambhir joined KKR and turned the fortunes of the IPL franchise around. You can see the Twitter post below that the KKR team has posted his photo with the caption saying “He’s home”.

At the event, Gambhir hailed KKR co-owner Shah Rukh Khan and CEO Venky Mysore for supporting him throughout his successful stint with the side.

Along with that, in that event, Gambhir said,

“I’m a very tough guy to handle. I have to thank SRK (Shah Rukh Khan) and (Venky) Mysore (Managing Director of KKR) for putting up with my tantrums all these years. He (Shah Rukh) told me the same thing that he had told me when I joined as a player. ‘This is your franchise, make it or break it’.”

He also added that,

“I can assure you that whenever I leave this place (KKR), we will be in a much better position. I want to make one thing clear. I didn’t make KKR successful. KKR made me successful. KKR made me a leader.”
