“Home. MI Home”, Hardik Pandya’s Big Statement on Returning to Mumbai Indians for IPL 2024
Indian Premier League 2024: Former Gujarat Titans skipper Hardik Pandya has issued his first statement after his blockbuster return to Mumbai Indian team in the IPL 2024 edition auction process. After successful return to MI, he shared a message for the record time winners following the end of the retention process on Monday.
All rounder Hardik Pandya is moved from Gujarat Titans to Mumbai Indians in the build up to the mini auction of the cash rich league. After the completion of transfer, he thanked Gujarat Titans franchise capatin for two seasons.
Hardik Pandya’s First Reaction on Returning to Mumbai Indians (MI)
All rounder Hardik recalled his memories with Mumbai Indians after the announcement. He remember how MI acquired the services of him ata bargain price. Record time winners MI franchise had signed Pandya for INR 10 lakh at the IPL 2015 auction.

After Gujarat Titans confirmed his exit from the franchise om November 26. He took social media X (formely called as Twitter) to express his views. He wrote, “Home. MI Home” with a picture.

Hardik Pandya’s Journey with MI
HP marked his IPL debut in 2015, embarking on a 7 year tenure with Mumbai Indians until 2021. From 2018 to 2021, he remained a consistent member, retained for Rs 11 crore. His recent move to Mumbai Indians came via Rs 15 crore trade with GT. He expressed his joy with a post in the social media/
Hardik’s Contribution to MI’s legacy
Hardik has given best in 123 IPL matches, featuring in 92 games for Mumbai Indians and 31 for Gujarat Titans. When he is playing for Mumbai, he contributed significantly, claiming 42 wickets and taking 1476 rins. His performance for Gujarat included 11 wickets and 833 runs in 31 matches.
