In that post he shared a picture with the text “Dad Calling” with the caption to that post” Miss You”. He lost his father in 2020 after a brief illness.

After India’s win against New Zealand, India entered into World Cup 2023 Final, and Siraj shared an emotional post about his late father making his fans emotional.

Mohammad Siraj father is Mohammad Ghaus who is an auto rickshaw driver in Hyderabad, he used to work hard to support his son’s passion for sport.

Recently in 2020, his father passed away due to heart attack. After team India landed in Australia and he could not return home due to Covid restrictions. Siraj consistently acknowledged his father’s pivotal role in his career.

It shows that how much he is missing his dad, and he remembered his Dad after reaching Men in Blue to the World Cup 2023 Final.

Recently Siraj talking to reporters about the entrance into world cup he said,

“To be honest I never thought that I would play a World Cup because I have come from so low (background)”.
