England off-spinner, Shoaib Bashir who is 20 Years old is all set to make his debut in the five-match series against England, even though he came to Abu Dhabi while getting ready to come to India this week, he got issued in VISA.

He got stuck in UAE, while all his other teammates were in India. So, on this issue, he was ruled out from the first test series of England vs India. Hoping to be in the other 4 test matches.

While talking on this issue, Rohit Sharma has shown sympathy to Shoaib on his delayed arrival to India due to the VISA issue. And he has come up with a hilarious response to the question asked about Shoaib.

He said in his pre-match press conference,

“I feel for him. He’s coming here with the England setup for the first time. It’s not easy for anyone. If it were one of our guys coming to England, and the visa was denied (it would be the same).

Unfortunately, I don’t sit in the visa office to give more details on that. But I hope he can make it here quickly, enjoy our country, and play some cricket as well.”

Even Usman Khawaja has experienced the same issue and the England skipper talking on this issue, stated that,

“As captain, I find this very annoying. We revealed the squad in mid-December, and Bash is now unable to travel here without a visa. “He isn’t the first cricketer to go through this,”

“I have played with a lot of people who have had the same issues.”

To complete his VISA process quickly, England and Wales Cricket Board’s MD (Operations) Stuart Hooper was in the UAE. But it didn’t get the desired result.

“I find it frustrating that we have picked a player, and he’s not with us because of visa issues. It’s a frustrating situation to be in, but a lot of people have been trying to get it through.”
