Who Are the Umpires for India vs Australia World Cup 2023 Final?

ODI World Cup 2023 came to an end by completing the final match. All set for the Australia and Australia finale 48th match long tournament at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad on November 19 (Sunday).

India came to the final after a convincing 70-run win against New Zealand in the first semifinal of the tournament. Australia defeated South Africa in the second semi-final by three wickets.

While the India vs Australia Semifinal match is just 2 days away, ICC has announced the names of umpires and officials who will be officiating the high-voltage encounter. Richard Illingworth, Richard (England) and Richard Kettleborough (England) will be on-field umpires while Andy Pycroft will be the match umpire. Joel Wilson (West Indies) and Christopher Gaffaney (New Zealand) will be the third and fourth umpires of the finale respectively.

India and Australia had met previously in the World Cup opener in Chepauk where India defeated the 5-time World Champions by 6 wickets. The final stadium will be a glittering affair with the Surya Kiran aerobatic team of the Indian Air Force performing an air show ahead of the match.

As per the reports, the hotel room tariff for the night in Ahmedabad on November 19 is high as they can charge Rs 2 lakh for the top 5 star hotels in the city. While other hotels have also increased their rates by 5 to 7 times. The two teams will again lock horns after the final is said and done when they meet for a 5-match T20I series, starting on November 23.
