Harbhajan Singh warns Rohit Sharma’s Team India before the Second Test against England: Despite the unexpected 28-run defeat in the opening Test of the five-match series against England, the Indian cricket team is confident of bouncing back strongly in the upcoming matches.

Though the absence of key players like Virat Kohli, KL Rahul, and Ravindra Jadeja in the second Test has further compounded the team’s challenges, the players are determined to overcome the hurdles and emerge victorious.

Harbhajan Singh fingers on Team India’s batting weakness

On his YouTube channel while analyzing India’s present batting structure, Bajji stressed that after Rohit, Ravichandran Ashwin holds the second-highest run-scorer for the home team. Without taking the players’ names, he indirectly castigated the batting skills of two individuals assuming Gill and Iyer.

However, Veteran off-spinner Harbhajan Singh has given caution to the Rohit Sharma-led Team India ahead of the coming Vizag Test that commences on Friday (February 2).

“The team seems alright, but it’s lacking in experience. Sure, there’s Rohit Sharma, but after him, the next highest run-scorer is Ashwin. The batting lineup appears to be on the weaker side,” Harbhajan commented.

Bajji Pajji also warned the Indian team against planning a spinning track, designing parallels to the 2023 ODI World Cup final when their chuck strategy failed.

Voicing apprehension, the ex-India cricketer said,

“I worry that India might suffer a loss similar to the one in the World Cup final if they prepare a turning pitch against England. The batting lineup is young and requires time to develop. However, if they play on a good track, they might show promising performances.”
