Hardik Pandya Praises His Bowlers After SRH Recorded 277-Run: On Wednesday, the 27th, Sunrisers Hyderabad and Mumbai Indians locked horns with each other at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad.

SRH smashed 277 for 3 runs against MI and won the match. That is the highest total in the IPL history. After the completion of the match, the captain of MI Hardik Pandya defended his bowling unit following their 31-run loss against SRH.

For the first time in history, they had scored 500 runs including a record of 38 sixes. SRH scored 277 for 3 wickets but Mumbai Indians scored 246 for 5. Sunrisers Hyderabad won the game by 31 runs against Mumbai Indians.

Hardik Pandya, captain of MI speaking in the post-match conference said that he was happy with what he saw from the bowlers unit,

“The wicket was good. I think SRH batted well. It was tough for the bowlers. 277, no matter how good or bad you bowl, if the opposition gets 277 that means they batted very well.

We tried as a bowling unit, but couldn’t get the breakthroughs. We could have tried a few things, but we have a young bowling attack. I liked what I saw.”

He also spoke about 18-year-old debutant pacer Kwena Maphaka, who said,

“I think he was fantastic you know. Coming into your first game and getting overwhelmed by this kind of crowd he showed he had the heart.

Even though he went for runs, he looked alright, he wanted to back his skillsets and that’s fantastic. He has the skillset, just that he needs some game time.”

When Hardik is asked about their batting display he says,

“Tilak, Ro, Kishan, Tim everyone batted well. I think it’s just a matter of a few things here and there and we will be alright.”
