‘I’m Happy For Him..’ Dravid praises Dube’s performance against Afghans: Here is what India head coach Rahul Dravid says about new becoming star cricketer Shivam Dube after his remarkable performance in the recent India vs Afghanistan Test series.

Dravid lauded all-rounder Shivam Dube, saying he has certainly come back an improved player following his ‘Player of the Series’ performance against Afghanistan. In the last T20I series, India clean-sweeped Afghanistan with 3-0 victories.

Ind Vs AFG: Shivam Dube has certainly comeback an improved player, says Rahul Dravid after POTS performance

After the match, Dravid speaking at the press conference stated that Shivam undoubtedly returned as a better player after his break. In 2019, Dube debuted in the Indian team but he failed to contribute a remarkable performance. However, one chance changes his image, the previous season of the IPL in the team CSK supported in getting back to the Indian team.

“I’m happy for him because he returned after a long time. He is certainly come back an improved player. There’s no doubt that he always had the talent. But I’m happy to see the way he performed in this series. I’m sure it’ll give him a lot of confidence as well. You come back in, play a series, and become the Player of the Series. I think it’s great,” stated Rahul Dravid in the post-match press conference.

Also, he added, “He’ll have the opportunity to show in the IPL again like he did last year. But happy for him, he showed us that he’s got some really good ability through those middle overs against spin and also with the ball. I think he bowled some good overs and has learned some lessons. It can be a very unforgiving place, bowling in a place like Bengaluru”.
