“Rohit Sharma’s captaincy was very, very average”: Ex England Skipper Makes Big Claim

With the loss of first test match against England, Micheal Vaughan made a big claim on India Skipper Rohit Sharma, saying that his captaincy is not upto the mark.

As we all know, Virat Kohli has withdrew himself from the first two matches due to personal reasons, BCCI has not disclosed the reason behind the kohli’s withdraw.

Ex England Skipper feels that Rohit who is a great player got switched off but that wouldnt have happened if virat kohli is in that place.

Speaking on his Youtube Channel ‘Club Prairie Fire’, Micheal Vaughan says that India missed the Kohli’s captaincy on IND vs ENG Test match.

“They missed Virat Kohli’s captaincy massively in Test cricket. Under Virat’s captaincy that week, India wouldn’t have lost the game. Rohit is a legend and a great player. But I felt he just switched off completely.”

Vaughan Cricticized by writing Rohit Sharma’s Captaincy as very very average even in his coloumn ‘The Telegraph’.

“I thought Rohit Sharma’s captaincy was very, very average. I thought he was so reactive; I don’t think he manoeuvred his field or was proactive with his bowling changes. And he didn’t have any answer to Ollie Pope’s sweeps or reverse sweeps.”

India is going to face England in the second test that is going to held on February 2nd, Vishakhapatnam. Along with Virat, India would not get the services of KL Rahul and Jadeja.
