KKR Mentor Gautham Ghambir Reached Kolkata For IPL 2024: IPL 2024 is going to start on March 22, and for that, everything is set. Gautham Ghambir on Thursday, March 14, returned to Kolkata as he is a KKR mentor ahead of IPL 2024.

Kolkata Knight Riders won the title under Gautham Ghambir in 2012 and 2014.

Gautham Ghambir Landed in Kolkata ahead of the IPL 2024. Presently Gautham Ghambir was mentoring Kolkata Knight Riders. Previously in 2011, he joined KKR and in 2012 and 2014, they defeated CSK and Punjab Kings.

Before 2018, he shifted to Delhi Daredevils and played one season with them by leaving Kolkata Knight Riders.

Ghambir Speaking to Star Sports, said,

“I made it very clear on Day 1 that IPL for me, is a serious cricket. It’s not about Bollywood, it’s not about you, it’s not about after party and stuff. It’s about going out there and playing competitive cricket and that’s the reason why I feel is the toughest league in the world because it is proper cricket.”

“It is probably closest to international cricket as compared to any other league and if you want to be known as a successful franchise, you should be able to deliver on the cricket field.”
