Fans Slam Mitchell Marsh For Resting His Feet on ODI World Cup Trophy

Australia defeated India by 6 wickets in the ODI Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Sunday. A century by the Australian opener Travis Head and an unbeaten fifty by Marnus Labuschagne helped Team Australia to chase the target 214 in 44 overs and win their 6th World Cup title.

After winning the World Cup title, Australian captain Pat Cummins took to Instagram to post a few celebration photos from their dressing room. In one of those photos, all-rounder Mitchell Marsh was relaxing on the sofa and resting his feet on the World Cup trophy.

Australia won the task and gave a batting chance to India. The opener Rohit Sharma has given a spectacular performance during the initial phases. Despite the promising start, the Indian team struggled to capitalize on the momentum and conclude their innings at 240 runs in 50 overs.

Australia slowly chased the runs and they lost 3 wickets in the first 7 overs. However, the match took a dramatic turn when Travis Head and Marnus Labuschange slam their centuries. Their effort helped India to win the title.
