ICC Men’s World Cup 2023: After losing 309 runs at the hands of 5-time champions Australia in the 2023 World Cup, Netherlands coach Ryan Cook said that the semi-final stage looks a bit distant.

The Netherlands lost their fourth match of the tournament and placed last in the ICC Men’s World Cup 2023 points table. Australia scored 399-8 with top batsman Glenn Maxwell’s fastest century in the tournament’s history and even David Warner made his 6 World Cup Century, Netherlands were bowled for just 90 in the whole 21 overs.

Ryan Cook at the press said “We are going back ourselves against any team that we come up against, we even have 4 remaining matches and we are aiming to try and get as many victories as we can. At the beginning of the tournament, we said that we would sort everything out for the semi-finals. But that looks a bit distant at that moment.

After the match at the press conference, Cook said we are trying our best to reach the semi-finals.
