Did Sara Tendulkar Hug Shubman Gill in Viral Picture? Here is the Truth

Social media platforms have been flooded with AI-generated “Deepfake” content quickly over the past few months. It wasn’t taken seriously until someone morphed Rashmika Madanna’s face in a video. Soon after that, Katrina Kaif was also a victim of this issue. The Indian government quickly issued notice against such kind of AI-generated misleading content and warned of one year in jail and a penalty up to INR 3 lakhs.

Today, deepfake images went viral on social media platforms. The image contains Indian opener, batsman Shubman Gill, his rumoured girlfriend, and legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar’s daughter Sara Tendulkar.

In the viral picture, Sara Tendulkar is seen hugging Shubman Gill as they smile ear to ear for the camera. The picture went viral after Bollywood actress Sara Ali Khan confirmed on Koffee with Karan that she had no relationship with Shubman Gill and Sara means not some other Sara who was dating him.

However, the picture of two Sara Tendulkar and Shuman hugging is learnt to have been photoshopped. The original image contains Arjun Tendulkar Sara’s brother instead of Shubman. Both Shubman and Sara Tendulkar are yet to comment on the issue.
