Even though India Pacers put Australia at risk by taking 3 wickets for 47 runs, in seven overs with a new ball trick. Travis Head and Marnus staged a remarkable comeback for Australia and scored well.

Cummins became the fifth Australian skipper to lead his team to champions. Kohli was honored with the Player of the Tournament award and it is a fitting recognition for his outstanding contribution.

These World Cup finalists will again be met at the T20I series which is going to start on Thursday in Visakhapatnam.
