From Sameer to Robin Many Uncapped Players Was Bought for High Cost

Many uncapped players are from India and Overseas, and they became hot players even though they have not proven themselves. Let us take a closer look at the four Indian uncapped players who fetched big money in the Dubai Auction 2024 on Tuesday.

Shubham Dubey

Shubham Dubey was the T20 Professional who came to the team as a debut in 2021, and he made his mark with impressive records. His stellar performance in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy with a strike rate of 187.28.

And this 29-year-old left-hand batter was bought by Rajasthan Royals for Rs. 5.8 crore in the IPL auction 2024.

Kumar Kushagra

Kumar Kushagra was a 19-year-old boy from Jharkhand. He has experience in T20’s but he did not have any experience in IPL. Even though with his record-breaking performance in T20’s as he scored 140 runs in 11 innings, he was bought by Delhi Capitals for Rs. 7.2 crore.

He has shown many noteworthy performances across many formats. He has an average of 46.46.

Robin Minz

Minz is a left-handed wicketkeeper and better known for his powerful hitting. In the T20 tournament in Odisha, he scored 73 off 35 deliveries. And even represented by Jharkhand U-19 and Jharkhand U-25 teams.

He also attempted trials for IPL franchises like Lucknow Supergaints, Delhi Capitals, and many others. This 21-year-old Robin Minz is the first tribal cricketer, bought by Gujarat Titans for the base price of Rs. 20 Lakh.

Sameer Rizvi

20-Year-Old Sameer Rizvi, even before the auction was in the bidding war. Rizvi was exposed in T20 Cricket with only 11 appearances. In the UP T20 league, he scored the highest number of runs and also recorded the highest fast century making him an enticing prospect.

He has a strike rate of 134.70, and he represents Uttar Pradesh, In 11 T20s he scored 295 runs. Chennai Super Kings has secured his services for Rs. 8.4 crore.

And in this IPL 2024 Auction, Cummins is the first player, who has breached the record of former players, as he bought by SRH Kings for a Rs. 20.50 crore deal.
