World Cup 2023: Ben Stokes Becomes First England Player To Achieve Special Milestone

England’s all-rounder Ben Stokes has achieved a special milestone for his team in international cricket. He became the first England player to achieve the double of 10,000+ runs and 100+ wickets across all three formats of the game.

Ben Stokes finally showed form against the Netherlands in the World Cup 2023. He slammed a hundred, his fifth in one-day internationals. The southpaw came out of retirement to help England in defending the title they won in 2019.

Stokes was ruled out of the first few games due to an injury but when he returned to the Playing XI, he couldn’t do much with the bat.

Ben Stokes missed the first three games for England in the ongoing World Cup, which made England play with a different set of 11 players than they were expected to walk in against New Zealand in the opening game.
