Vengsarkar emphasized that Kohli’s influence reaches far beyond the boundaries of the cricket field. He stated his academy has become a breeding ground for talented young cricketers. “All the young cricketers who come to my academy look up to Virat, which is a good sign for Indian cricket,” added Vengsarkar.

Kohli has been spectacular in the present World Cup 2023 as he is in the second position in the leading run scores. He has amassed 543 runs in 8 matches at an outstanding average of 108.60 with the help of two centuries.
