Travis Head Hails His Opening Partner After SRH’s Win Against LSG: Match between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Lucknow Super Giants, held on May 8, Thursday. SRH won the match with a dominant 10-wicket victory over the Lucknow Super Giants.

In that match, which was held at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Travis’s head and his partner in crime person Abhishek completed the match easily. After the match, Travis Head praises his SRH opener saying that it is an exciting talent for Cricket.

‘Exciting Times With Abhishek…’ Travis Head

Travis Head and his partner Abhishek smashed the LSG bowlers to a pulp, on Wednesday and won the match with 10 wicket victory. The ferocious and persistent assault by the SRH openers can’t able to handled by the LSG bowlers.

In that match, Travis Head crashed eight boundaries and as many sixes to make LSG down for 165 in just 9.4 overs. Speaking more about his partner in the post-match press conference

Travis stated that Abhishek’s energy and game gave him more energy, and he also says it is more enjoyable to be around.

“The partnership with Abhi has been fantastic, he’s such an exciting talent for Indian cricket. We complement each other so well and he’s very very enjoyable to be around, he’s so excited and thinks about the game and yeah he’s got a lot of energy so it’s a great partnership to be involved in.”

Both players registered the fastest 100-run partnership in IPL history off just 30 balls and broke their own record.

Further speaking ahead, Head spoke,

“Whenever you’re playing you wanna be as consistent as you can, you want to be getting runs. It’s nice to be among the runs been nice to be playing well.

That’s not going to guarantee anything in the West Indies but it gives me the best chance to be in a very good mindset. Working hard on training and I think we face a fair bit of spin in the Caribbean and wickets might become tougher as the tournament goes.

So very pleased with how I played spin tonight, things that I’m working on in training are somewhat working in the moment but fair to say reflexes that I’ve done for the last couple of years and be ready to go.”

Travis Head along with the rest of his SRH teammates will now face Gujarat Titans on May 16 at Hyderabad.
