IPL Schedule 2024 to Hinge on Election Commission Decision Over Lok Sabha Election Dates

The 2024 IPL (Indian Premier League) faces a big scheduling challenge with pressure from both sides of its planned window. In the 2019 edition, the organizers released the schedule for the first 19 matches initially, which was subject to change. The rest of the fixture list was unveiled later in accordance with the local authorities and the polling dates.

IPL’s next season hosting details will play an important role in franchises strategy at the mini-auction. If the IPL 2024 will be conducted overseas, then the franchises make a few changes to their strategy at the mini-auction on December 19.

The UAE and South Africa could be two possible options where the IPL could be shifted when required, and they both have diverse conditions when compared with India.
