IPL 2024: Matheesha Pathirana Bids Emotional Note to CSK After Being Ruled Out of Tournament With Injury

Matheesha Pathirana, the CSK speedster, has returned to Sri Lanka after an injury which has ruled him out of the ongoing IPL tournament. Pathirana expressed his disappointment at not being able to complete the season with 5-time champions.

While he was with Chennai Super Kings in IPL 2024, the right-arm fast bowler did manage to make an impact, having scalped 13 wickets in 6 IPL games. However, an injured knee cut short his season. Before leaving the country, Pathirana shared an emotional Instagram post.

CSK at Number 3 Position in IPL 2024

As long as CSK are concerned, they find themselves at the third position on the IPL 2024 points table with 6 wins from 11 matches.
