Yuvaraj Singh Honestly Revealed His First Impression on Rohit: Since 2013, India has not won any of the ICC tournaments and again T20 World Cup 2024 has reached and everyone is keeping their trust to win this World Cup. Recently, the 2023 ODI World Cup was completed and India went to the semi-finals and missed the match.

The T20 World Cup is going to start on June 1 in West Indies and USA. Yuvaraj Singh speaking about the T20 World Cup as an ambassador, we need a good captain and Rohit will be good at making the decisions wisely.

India ‘Need A Really Good Captain’ – Yuvraj About Rohit

As Rohit Sharma is the captain of the T20 World Cup 2024, his role is very crucial. He is also a very prominent skipper ahead of the T20 World Cup.

Yuvraj Singh showered praise on his friend Rohit Sharma that he is the best captain for T20 World Cup 2024. Yuvaraj and Rohit have a long history in international and franchise cricket. They also shared an India dressing room when Rohit was in the early years of his game.

When Yuvaraj Singh was asked about the captain Rohit Sharma, and his importance, as a ambassador he said,

“(Rohit’s presence is going to be) very crucial. We need a perfect captain, a sensible captain who takes decisions well under pressure. And he’s the one to take them.”

Yuvaraj also feels that India needs someone like Rohit to lead the team at the Marquee Event.

And also said according to ICC,

“He was the captain when we lost in the (Cricket World Cup) 50-over final (in 2023). He has won five IPL trophies as a captain. I think we need somebody like him to captain India.”

“Very poor English,” Yuvraj said jokingly. “Hilarious guy. From the streets of Borivali (in Mumbai), we always tease him. But a great guy at heart.

“The more success he’s had, he has never changed as a person. That’s the beauty of Rohit Sharma. Fun-loving, always having fun with the guys, A great leader in the park, and one of my closest friends from cricket.

“I want to see Rohit Sharma with a World Cup trophy and a World Cup medal. He deserves it.”
