Rashid Khan Ruled Out of IND vs AFG T20I Series: Afghanistan is going to play the T20I series against India without Rashid Khan Who is the skipper of Afghanistan. Rashid has not played a competetive game since the ODI world Cup because of the lower back surgery.

Recently, he got recovered and also Afghanistan placed his name in 19 member squad of Afghanistan T20I series against India. But suddenly there is a news going viral that Rashid khan has been ruled out.

IND vs AFG T20I series: Why Rashid Khan Has Been ruled Out From T20I series Against India

Recently, there is a news went viral and Rashid khan has uploaded a video of practice session for T20I series after the recovery from lower back surgery, but suddenly Rashid khan ruled out of T20I series.

Speaking on to the reporters in the Pre match Press Conference, skiper of Afghanistan in present  Ibrahim Zadran said the reason behind the Rashid ruled out of the series which is the huge setback for Afghanistan.

“He (Rashid) is not totally fit but is travelling with the team, We hope that he gets fit as soon as we expect him to. He’s doing his rehab with the doctor, and we will miss him in the series. “

Even Zodran expressed that, even though there are many people who can play well, his absence is the biggest setback for our team.

“Without Rashid, there are a few players that we have trust in. I can say they will play good cricket,” Zadran said. “Others have also played a lot of cricket, and I am sure they will perform well.

As Rashid Khan has been ruled out who is the spin bowler and also the highest wicket taker of T20Is, Afghanistan’s spin department will be led by Noor Ahmad and Mujeeb-ur-Rahman.

“Nabi is the most senior guy in our team, and he should play. He has lots of experience,” he added.

“Playing against India on their home soil is a difficult task, but we came here to play well against them and show our skills. We have lots of good T20 players; all our boys are playing good cricket, so I am sure they will play well. We will have a good series against India,” Skipper of Aghanistan added. 

Afghanistan will be hoping for the speedy recovery of the Spin bowler, so that he will be available for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024.
