Sunrisers Hyderabad unveils brand new Jersey for IPL 2024, with black patterns on organge

IPL 2024: Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) took their social media handle to unveil their brand new jersey on Thursday, March 7. They have changed the design of their outfit from the last few years, hoping for a turnaround in fortunes after last position finish in the last season.

They chose the same orange and black threads but designed it similarly to the highly successful Sunrisers Eastern Cape (SEC) team from the SA20 league. SEC won both the editions of the SA20 league in 2023 and 2024.

The new jersey, which has been named the “Fiery Heat” by SRH, has an orange foundation with a black design woven throughout. The design gives it a distinct and eye-catching appearance that is likely to draw attention to the pitch.

Complementing the jersey are black trousers with an orange stripe down the side that incorporates the black patterned design.

SRH announced the new jersey with ace bowler Bhuvaneshwar Kumar modelling the new style. They wrote under the post: “Ready to unleash the fiery heat of Hyderabad.” Our new blazing armour for #IPL2024, #PlayWithFire.”

The jersey announcement post has already sparked excitement among the team’s devoted fans, who are excited to see their team on the pitch in the brilliant new colours.

In a bold decision that signals a transition in leadership, SRH recently announced that Australian captain Pat Cummins will lead the team in the upcoming season. Cummins was purchased for a record INR 20.50 crore in the auction and will lead the team in the upcoming Indian Premier League season.

The team’s campaign starts against Kolkata Knight Riders on March 23 in Kolkata, with a challenging matchup against Mumbai Indians, Chennai Super Kings, and Gujarat Titans, promising an exciting and competitive journey ahead.
