Virat Kohli’s brother Vikas declines rumors about their mother’s health: Star cricketer of the India team, Virat Kohli’s elder brother, Vikas Kohli, just encountered the rumors about their mother Saroj Kohli’s health on Instagram.

‘Mom is Absolutely Fit and Fine’: Virat Kohli’s Brother Vikas Dismisses ‘Fake News’ on Mother’s Health Condition

To address the rumors circulating over the internet and media about his mother’s health condition, Vikas Kohli wrote on his Instagram story:

“Hello everyone! I have noticed that there is this fake news about our mom’s health been circulating around. Let me clear that our mom is absolutely fit and fine. Also, I would request everyone, and also the media, not to spread such news without proper information. Thanks everyone for your concern”.

This kind of news started circulating after Virat requested to withdraw from the first two matches against England because of personal reasons.

“Mr. Virat Kohli has requested the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to be withdrawn from the first two Tests of the upcoming IDFC First Bank Test series against England, citing personal reasons,” BCCI stated.

It is presently unclear why Virat Kohli did not attend the first two Tests of the India vs England series. The BCCI did not give any reasons for his absence. Kohli had skipped the ODI and T20I series during India’s tour of South Africa before rejoining the squad for the two-match Test series.

The Indian team missed Kohli’s presence in the first Test against England in Hyderabad, where the team lost despite being in a good position after the first innings. English vice-captain Ollie Pope’s outstanding knock of 196 runs led to India’s defeat, leaving the team led by Rohit Sharma in a tough situation.
