AB De Villiers About Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma: After India’s defeat in the World Cup 2023, there is news that Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli are not going to play ODIs and T20I cricket. Till now, there is no clarity on Rohit and Virat whether they are interested in playing T20I or not.

But AB De Villers who is a South Africa batter believes that Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli are very hungry to play and win T20I cricket in 2024.

“I think they will want to go there and win” – AB De Villiers

Former South African Cricketer and batting Legend AB De Villers shared his opinion on the potential participation of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma in the T20 World Cup 2024.

Recently, as AB De Villiers has a YouTube Channel, speaking on his YouTube channel, he talked about the chances of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma playing in the T20 World Cup 2024 which is to be played with the West Indies and the USA.

“We just have to see them there (Rohit & Virat). It’s all about their hunger. Do they have the hunger to go there and win the T20 World Cup? I think so.

I cannot speak on their behalf but I think they will want to go there and win. T20 World Cup is a short tournament and you do set yourselves up to have another chance of winning a World Cup. So I do see them going there.”

He also added, “India captained by Suryakumar Yadav is quite a nice move, I like that. He is a bit of a 360-degree) player. He thinks differently and is a bit creative. It will be nice to watch him lead his troops in South Africa.”

Finally, AB De Villers concluded by saying,

“What I liked about both squads was that the players have been rewarded for domestic performances. Indian squad has played who have done well in the IPL, and the South African squad has had a great SA20 season.

The selectors have gone with these players to see how they handle the pressure of the T20 World Cup next year. Very excited.”
