Indian Premier League 2024: Virat Kohli and Shubman Gill had an interaction session before the RCB and GT clash at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru on May 4, Saturday.

The Gujarat Titans’ official social media account posted a special video featuring both stars Kohli and Gill. The duo, often regarded as the King and Prince of Indian cricket, will be up against each other in a mouth-watering clash. However, despite the fiery contest, Kohli and Gill share a special bond and respect for each other.

The present and future of Indian cricket looked all smiles as they had a fun interaction. Kohli and Gill shared a good laugh and had a handshake in the RCB team’s dressing room after their practice session. In the shared video, Kohli pulled Gill’s leg and said, “Bade jaldi aaya practice karne.”

Virat Kohli is known for being a fun and animated character on the field as well as off the field. He was yet again involved in super-fun banter with Gill ahead of the match. During Gujarat Titan’s last encounter against RCB as well, Kohli had a fun banter with Gill.

The duo grabbed the attention at the Narendra Modi Stadium for their friendly tussle. In a light-hearted manner, Kohli interrupted Gill while he was captaining and playfully pushed him from his shoulder while batting for RCB.

Kohli had produced a masterclass against Gujarat in their last encounter by scoring an unbeaten 70 runs from just 44 balls. His 166-run stand with Centurian Will Jacks powered RCB to a much-needed win by 9 wickets as they chased down the 201-run target within 16 overs.

Kohli has scored 500 runs from 10 matches for RCB at an average of 71.43 and will look to reclaim the Orange Cap, which is currently with Ruturaj Gaikward, who has scored 509 runs till now. Meanwhile, Gill has not lived up to his usual standards as he has scored 320 runs in 10 matches at a strike rate of 140.97 and an average of 35.56.
