In this list Mohammad Shami was not placed as he was taking rest for the ankle injury that was taken place in the World Cup 2023, and Druv Jurel is making his debut with this test series.

Jurel, has made his First-Class debut last year against Vidarbha, has so far made 790 runs from 15 matches at an average of 46 with a hundred and five fifties in the domestic circuit.
