Watch: David Miller’s Juggling Catch in Three Attempts, Lungi Ngidi Celebrates With Folded Hands Gesture

The 42nd match of the ODI World Cup 2023 is held between South Africa and Afghanistan at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. A comic incident happened at the match today. The show was a comic juggling catch of David Miller to dismiss Rahmar Shah.

The proteas made Afghanistan struggle with 5 wickets down for just 112 runs. Gerald Coetzee and Keshav Maharaj picked up 4 wickets in between them to put Afghanistan in trouble in their final league game.

David Miller’s Juggle to Dismiss Rahmat Shah

Lungi Ngidi was troubling the batters with his pace despite being in discomfort due to a problem with his ankle. Afghanistan pacer Rahmat Shah looked to go aggressive against the pacer after facing a few balls in his second spell and went for a drive. He couldn’t handle it properly and the ball flew towards the backward point where David Miller was located. Miller was put his 100% to grab the ball but it popped up from his hand.

David Miller had to juggle 4 to 5 times before catching the ball. It looked like a general catch but Miller lost his balance a bit after taking it into the first attempt. The ball went up as Miller fell uncomfortable but he was alert to pick the ball and balance himself. Rahmat Shah was out of the match after facing 46 balls. He scored 26 runs including 2 fours.
