Joe Root’s Aggressive Approach WIth India Disappoints Michael Vaughan: India vs England’s five-match test series is going well and everyone is giving their best performances in both the tests.

England took the win in the first match, but in the second test in Vizag, England was not able to chase the target of 399 with India. For that, Michael Vaughan has advised Joe Root about his sensible batting approach.

In the second innings of the second test match in Vizag, Joe Root was at the receiving end for his aggressive shot selection that forced him out in the early innings.

In the test match in Vizag, Joe got dismissed after scoring 16 off  10 deliveries with two fours and six. Vaughan on seeing all this strongly instructed Root about his “Bazball Approach”.

Michael Wrote in his column for the telegraph about Joe Roots that,

“The batsmen look like they only have one way to play. They are in fifth gear from ball one. I don’t mind some of them playing like that because they are better at it. But Joe Root should forget it.

He has 10,000 Test runs playing like Joe Root. He doesn’t need to be a Bazballer.”

“It is time for someone in the management to put an arm around Joe and say, ‘Please just be yourself.”
