R Ashwin Lauded Sachin Das For His Knock in U19 World Cup 2024: In the recent U-19 World Cup India reached the finals and took a two-wicket win over South Africa. Skipper Uday Saharan and Sachin Das played a major role in winning the U-19 WC.

India won the U-19 World Cup with two wickets over South Africa in the finals. Sachin Das and Skipper Uday Saharan played a very important role in reaching India to the finals in the U-19 World Cup.

Sachin is the third-highest run-getter in the tournament so far, as he scored 294 runs in six matches at an average of 73.50, with one century and a fifty.

Coming to the match, as India won the toss in the U-19 World Cup finals, India asked South Africa to bat first.

South Africa made 244/7 in 50 overs as Lhuan-dre Pretorius (76 in 102 balls, with six fours and three sixes) and Richard Seletswane (64 in 100 balls, with four boundaries and two sixes) hit crucial half-centuries.

Raj Limbani (3/60) was the pick of the bowlers for India. Musheer Khan (2/43), Saumy Pandey (1/38), and Naman Tiwari (1/52) also were among the wickets for India.

India reached the target of 245 easily as players like Sachin Dhas (96 in 95 balls, with 11 fours and a six) and skipper Uday Saharan (81 in 124 balls, with six fours) scored well. Even though Limbani (13*), Kwena Maphanka (3/32), and Tristan Luus (3/37) took wickets, India won the game.

Finally, Saharan got the ‘player of the match’ as he made a half-century.
